Learner Profile

This is programme is not for everyone. There are several demands on both the learner and the learner’s manager. To be successful with this programme we need you to commit:

• Every week, you need to complete 5 hours of assignments per week.  If you cannot modify your lifestyle for these 10 months to accommodate this requirement, then Achieving Level C is not for you.
• You need to attend your sessions.  This means that you and your manager need to make the sessions a priority in your agenda.  We understand that sometimes there are events that are beyond your control; however, these should not be the norm.
• You need to have work-related discussions in French at work, everyday – a minimum of one hour per day.  You need to actively participate in meetings in French whenever possible.  If you are serious in being successful at the Oral Proficiency Test, you need to put humility aside and risk yourself at work by having professional discussions.  You need to use French everyday to be successful in this programme.
• And most importantly, you need to really want Level CBC.
